Georgia Department of Transportation To Hold an Executive Summary Virtual Public Hearing For P.I. No. 0001757, SR 400 Express Lanes Fulton and Forsyth Counties The Georgia Department of Transportation will host a virtual Public Hearing concerning the project listed above. This project proposes to construct two, new express lanes in each direction on an approximately 16-mile section of SR 400 from the North Springs MARTA Rail Station in Fulton County to McGinnis Ferry Road and one, new express lane on SR 400 in each direction from McGinnis Ferry Road to McFarland Parkway (Exit 12) in Forsyth County, and maintenance of the new construction and existing infrastructure. The proposed express lanes would improve mobility and travel-time reliability along the SR 400 corridor. The purpose of this virtual Public Hearing is to provide the public with an opportunity to view and comment on executive summaries prepared by Proposers responsive to the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the proposed project. Georgia DOT has published the executive summaries on the project website to conduct this virtual public hearing. Executive summaries will be published and made available online for review and public comment at https://0001757-gdot.hub.arcgis.com/ under the Executive Summary section for thirty (30) days beginning Friday, May 17, 2024.
